We offer a variety of different rental space options which can be tailored to your unique needs. Whether you need to rent the first floor lounge space, the rooftop patio, or the entire venue, The Garden has you covered! This is not to mention that you can take advantage of our full kitchen and bar staff to best serve your specific needs!

RENTAL OPTIONS:

• LOUNGE RENTAL (Available year round)
  This reserves the entire first floor of the venue for your private event, which includes 2 multi-person bathrooms, a full cash/card bar, music, and available kitchen staff for a la carte meals and snacks. This rental can seat up to 110 people with additional standing room available. (A la carte meals and snacks are not included in rental price.) 
  • ​A la carte meals and snacks are not included in venue rental price.
  • Music can be played by a streaming service. DJ not included unless you add on this service.
• PATIO BAR RENTAL (Seasonally available)
  This reserves the entire rooftop patio bar for your private event, which includes 2 multi-person bathrooms, a full cash/card bar, music, and available kitchen staff for a la carte meals and snacks. Enjoy the views of the East Village while entertaining your guests in a unique way unlike any other and all for a fabulous price! This rental can seat approximately 75 people with additional standing room available. 
  • A la carte meals and snacks are not included in venue rental price.
  • Music can be played by a streaming service. DJ not included unless you add on this service.
• FULL VENUE RENTAL (Seasonally available)
  Reserve the entire lower floor and rooftop patio! Your private event will include 4 multi-person bathrooms, seating and availability to serve up to 250 people, up to 4 bartenders, music, and available kitchen staff for a la carte meals and snacks.

  • Music can be played by a streaming service. DJ not included unless you add on this service.

  Feed your friends and family with a delicious buffet carefully prepared by our staff. You'll work closely with our staff to prepare your menu.

• DRAG SHOW
  Enjoy a private drag show with some of the most seasoned, funny, and talented performers that Des Moines has to offer!

• PRIVATE DRAG BRUNCH
  This drag brunch includes seating for up to 110 in our show lounge with additional standing room available. (Number of guests limited by law.) We'll prepare a delicious brunch for you and your crew to enjoy.
  • Unlimited mimosas and/or Bloody Mary drinks are available at the venue and paid for individually the day of the event.
  • Tips for the performers are highly encouraged and are not included with this add-on.
